Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FourCore ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information in connection with FourCore Product Connector (the "App"). This policy applies to merchants who install or use the App with Shopify.

1. Information We Collect

We collect and process information necessary to provide the App and its features.

Information provided by Shopify

Store information made available through Shopify, including shop domain, display name, contact email, currency, and timezone.
Product information made available through the App's approved read_products scope, including product titles, handles, availability, images, SKUs, barcodes, metafields used for connection logic, and related product metadata.
Session and authentication data required for secure access to the App.

Information provided by merchants

Connection rules, product groups, manual product selections, labels, display settings, priorities, custom CSS, and other App configuration data saved by the merchant.
Communications sent to us in connection with support or account inquiries.

Technical information

When the App renders connector options on a storefront, it may process limited technical data such as request logs and short-lived browser cache data required to load options and improve performance.

2. How We Use Information

To authenticate merchants and operate the App.
To create, save, and apply connection rules and storefront display settings.
To render linked product options on product pages and supported storefront surfaces.
To provide support, troubleshoot issues, maintain service security, and improve reliability.
To comply with legal obligations and Shopify requirements.

3. Customer and Buyer Data

The App is not designed to create or maintain customer profiles, order histories, or payment information outside Shopify. We implement Shopify's required privacy compliance webhooks and do not currently persist customer-specific records outside Shopify.

4. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information only as necessary to operate the App, comply with law, or protect our rights and the security of the service.

To Shopify, in connection with App functionality.
To hosting, infrastructure, database, analytics, and support providers acting on our behalf.
To professional advisers or authorities where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to enforce our rights.
We do not sell merchant data.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only for as long as necessary to operate the App, satisfy contractual obligations, and comply with legal requirements.

Shop and session records are deleted when we receive Shopify uninstall or shop redact requests.
Shopify privacy webhook requests are handled in accordance with Shopify's required compliance process.
Short-lived storefront cache data expires automatically and is used solely for App performance and rendering.

6. International Processing

Information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside a merchant's country of operation, including in locations where our service providers maintain infrastructure. We use reasonable measures intended to protect information in connection with such processing.

7. Your Rights and Requests

Depending on applicable law, merchants may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain information we hold about them. Privacy-related requests may be sent to support@fourcore.dev.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or our data practices. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
